Blue Ridge – Biloxi – Trace trip

Chapter D is planning a trip in Oct. that should be one to remember the rest of our lives. We expect to ride some of the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Knoxville area and we have plans to take the train ride at Dillsboro, NC. There are several things to do in the area such as  Biltmore Estate, Tail of the Dragon, Cherokee Mountainside Theatre, Cataloochee Ranch Restaurant and I’m sure we will want to check out many others.

  The plan is to stop anytime anyone wants to, including our overnight stops. Being flexible like this makes it imposable to make reservations very much ahead. Hopefully, we can make some in route for some of the places we need  to.

   The planned  route takes us through Chattanooga where we might take a side trip to Look Out Mountain. We can be flexible as to when we reach the Mississippi Rally at Biloxi. Upon leaving for home we can ride part of the Natchez Trace Parkway from Kosclusko, to Tupelo, Miss. The speed limit on the Trace is 50 mph and enforced pretty tight. Last year Faye and I seen a lot of wildlife as we rode the Trace.

   This route is for starters only we will go the way most of the riders want to go. Hope all of you will join Chapter D for a good ride.
